The entry-level Dodge Hornet trim sets a solid foundation for the rest of the lineup. Under the hood of the Hornet GT is a turbocharged 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine. The engine powers an all-wheel drive system with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Looking at the Hornet GT from the outside, you'll find full LED lighting, Keyless Enter n' Go passive entry, lower black cladding, side mirror-integrated turn signals, a rear lip spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors with a heating element, and 17-inch Silver painted alloy wheels. Inside the Hornet GT, you'll find a 12.3-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, and an ignition push-button on the center console. The Hornet GT also comes equipped with an array of safety features as standard equipment, including but not limited to adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, active lane management, automatic high beams, rain-sensing wipers, and blindspot monitoring.

The GT Plus is exactly what it sounds like, it's the GT plus additional features! The Hornet GT Plus adds remote engine start, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a one-touch power liftgate to the exterior. However, most of the upgrades for the GT Plus are found inside. These include an eight-speaker Harman-Kardon Premium Audio system, leather upholstery, built-in TomTom navigation with live traffic updates and voice activation, a wireless charging pad, heated/cooled front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.

The 2023 Dodge Hornet R/T comes with Dodge's first-ever plug-in hybrid powertrain. Made up of a 1.3L turbocharged engine and a rear axle-mounted electric motor powered by a rechargeable battery pack, the Hornet R/T delivers exciting performance with 284 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the electric power, the Hornet R/T instantly launches with 184 lb-ft of torque. The all-new PowerShot feature enhances the performance of the Hornet R/T even further. Activated by simply pulling both paddle shifters and accelerating at the same time, the PowerShot feature gives drivers a 15-second burst of 30 extra horsepower. This can be used while driving or from a stop. Drivers can use PowerShot as many times as they'd like, with a 15-second cooldown time between each use. Other Hornet R/T standard features include dual exhaust outlets, Brembo high-performance brakes with red calipers, black Abyss lower cladding, and 18-inch Graphite Gray alloy wheels.
