Plus, this model year is introducing new features to the lineup, like an advanced air filtration system, an all-new infotainment system, LED trailer hitch lighting, and more! The lineup includes the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, and Limited, but there are also several additional special-edition trims that add specialized features to certain models, adding even more variety to the 2022 collection. Tradesman
If you’re looking for a tried and true work truck to help you get right down to business, the Tradesman is the one for you! This truck comes with the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine, rated at an impressive 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine also comes standard with the 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system. The Tradesman comes with all-new LED trailer hitch lights, 18-inch wheels, and black exterior accents that add to its utilitarian feel. Inside, it features a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, work-grade vinyl seats, and five-inch digital display equipped with Bluetooth. There’s also a new air filter that can remove up to 95% of dirt, dust, bacteria, and other particles.

Big Horn
Next up is the Big Horn trim, which is also sometimes lovingly known as the Lone Star. This trim level adds some details that differentiate it from the Tradesman, and also has more available options for upgrades. First off, the Big Horn adds fog lights, and chrome exterior accents in place of the black bumper and door handles of the Tradesman. It also has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 60-40 split-folding rear-seat bench. On Crew Cab models, you can opt for an in-floor storage system to keep your items safely stowed. One of the new special edition models for 2022 is the Big Horn BackCountry, which takes the Big Horn’s foundation and adds off-road features like all-terrain tires, skid plates, hill-descent, and much more! You’ll also find bed enhancements like spray-in bedliner, and LED in-bed lighting.

Laramie
Up next is the Laramie, which is where we get the first hints at the Ram 1500’s capacity for luxury! The Laramie has a sleeker design compared to the simpler Tradesman and Big Horn, and includes features like the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system. This is the newest generation of the technology, and comes with a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and up to five customizable user profiles. It also features heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and leather upholstery throughout. On the exterior, the Laramie features LED headlights, even more chrome accents, and a remote start system. Other features include a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a 9-speaker audio system, and satellite radio.

Rebel
The Rebel trim offers a sportier take on the Ram 1500, and offers a bolder exterior appearance, featuring its own exclusive grille design. The Rebel also comes equipped with some features that enhance its performance, like hill-descent control, tow hooks, and even an electronic locking rear axle! The Rebel also comes with a Class IV tow hitch receiver, and steel underbody skid plates. There’s also a special-edition GT package available for both the Rebel and the Laramie, which pushes the envelope on the performance features, adding more race-ready elements like cold air intake, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminum paddle shifters, and much more!

Limited Longhorn
If you want a Ram 1500 trim level with a style all its own, then the Limited Longhorn is sure to impress. This is another other of the more upscale Ram 1500 models, with a particular lean towards Southwestern style. For example, the Limited Longhorn comes with 20-inch aluminum wheels, wheel-to-wheel chrome side steps, and LED headlights with automatic high beams. It even offers two-tone color options, and comes with a chrome grille. Inside, the Limited Longhorn features leather-trimmed seats with the Limited Longhorn badge embossed into the front seats, and also includes genuine Barnwood accents inlaid in the steering wheel. Other features include rear under-seat storage, front and rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.

Limited
The final trim level in the 2022 Ram 1500 lineup is the Limited, which has been celebrated for having the most luxurious interior of any truck in its class! Once you take a look at the Limited, it’s easy to see why. This model comes with premium leather seats, real wood interior accents, and a power-adjustable front seat. The Limited also comes with the more powerful engine option of the lineup, the 5.7-liter HEMI V8. This engine is available both with and without the 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system, and pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Limited also includes a standard 12-inch touchscreen for its Uconnect 5 infotainment system, as well as a wireless smartphone charging pad. There’s also the Limited 10th Anniversary Edition for 2022, which introduces a new Blue Shade paint color, and also includes a premium 19-speaker sound system, quilted leather interior accents, and custom graphics.
