Trim Levels of the 2019 Jeep Compass
The 2019 Jeep Compass offers four great trim levels to choose from, the Sport, the Latitude, the Limited, and the Trailhawk. Each trim level comes with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that runs on 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque as part of its standard equipment. The Compass also comes with front-wheel drive as a standard feature, but also offers all-wheel-drive as well. The exception to this rule comes from the Trailhawk trim, which utilizes the all-wheel-drive option as its standard default. Other than that exception though, each of the available trims start with the features of the trim before it and add more.
The first available trim and most basic is the Compass’s Sport trim. While the Sport trim may be the least outfitted of all the trim options available for Compass, the Sport trim doesn’t skimp with features that include a USB charging port, Uconnect infotainment system, air conditioning, six-speaker audio system, 16-inch wheels, and a seven-inch touchscreen.
Moving along the list of available trims for the 2019 Jeep Compass will bring you to the Latitude trim. The Latitude begins with the standard features of the Sport trim and then goes on to even more impressively equip the Compass. These added features include keyless ignition, a steering wheel wrapped in leather, widened wheels, keyless entry, and either upgraded seat upholstery or simulated leather.
The Limited trim level sees the Compass equipped with its more comprehensive selection of available features. This selection of features begins with those that come standard on the previous trim levels and then add an upgraded exterior trim, automatic dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, remote start, upgraded driver information display, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, 18-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, and smartphone integration for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-enabled devices.
The final trim level available for the 2019 Jeep Compass is the Trailhawk. What sets this trim level apart from the others of the Compass line is its specialized set of functions and features. With its focus being in off-roading, the Trailhawk comes equipped with 17-inch wheels, a Selec-Terrain system, underbody skid plates, nine-speed automatic transmission, a matte-black hood accent, raised suspension, specialized off-road tires, and all-wheel-drive.
There are additional features that can be added among the trim levels for further customization. These include the addition of a power liftgate, Cold Weather package, sunroof, xenon headlights, a built-in navigation system, Beats premium speaker system, as well as an Advanced Safety package that includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, forward collision warning and mitigation, and lane departure warning and intervention.
