What engines are available for the 2022 Wagoneer?
When the Wagoneer becomes available, it will come with a robust 5.7-liter V8 that delivers 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque which pairs with a smooth sailing eight-speed automatic transmission. You also get a 48 volt-hybrid system known as the eTorque, which, unlike most hybrid systems, will fill the gap between gear shifts while also improving the Wagoneers stop/start system and improves the fuel economy. Further engines have yet to be announced; it's expected that there will be a diesel option and hybrid option. The Wagoneer will be available with either rear or four-wheel-drive and can tow to 10,000 pounds.
What tech can we expect for the Wagoneer?
All trims of the 2022 Wagoneer come with the latest version of the Uconnect system, which has speeds up to five times faster than the previous version, which comes in brilliantly on the 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center console and a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the driver's gauge cluster. As typical with the Uconnect system, it's quick to respond to commands and easy to use. This new Uconnect system will act more like a mobile device with processing speeds up to five times faster than previous generations and allows for over-the-air updates for firmware and maps. You also get Amazon Alexa integration and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on both models.
What does the interior of the Wagoneer look like?
The Wagoneer's interior is incredibly spacious and comes with all the amenities you would expect from a premium SUV, making it a great place to spend long car trips. The materials are incredibly luxurious and are of the highest quality. We should also mention that the Wagoneer has a 10-inch display and a solid Uconnect system.
