As we mentioned above, the Ram 2500 offers six trim levels for drivers to choose from, and each one is more powerful than the last. For this range, there are three engines to choose from. The base engine is anything but basic. Coming standard on the majority of the lineup, you’ll find a 6.4-liter V8 engine rated at 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. If you’re looking for even more strength, there’s an available 6.7-liter diesel-powered six-cylinder. This engine offers up 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. Last, but certainly not least, there’s an upgraded version of the diesel engine that’s calibrated to produce 420 horsepower and an incredible 1,075 lb-ft of torque! Across the board, rear-wheel drive comes standard, with the exception of the more rugged Power Wagon trim. This model has off-road features like a WARN winch, all-terrain tires, and steel underbody skid plates. 

Depending on the trim level you choose, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of features! The Ram 1500 lineup starts off with the Tradesman, which is the essential work truck for daily drives and tough jobs alike. The Tradesman starts you off with features like 17-inch steel wheels, a Class V receiver hitch, and a seven-pin wiring harness. Inside, the Tradesman features work-grade vinyl upholstery, and a classic bench seat up front. The Big Horn is up next, and it adds onto the baseline of the Tradesman with features like 18-inch wheels, a remote keyless entry system, and power windows and door locks. Other features include heated side mirrors, and soft cloth upholstery. The Laramie continues to up the ante with features like LED fog lights, LED interior lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You’ll also find heated leather-trimmed seats, a heated steering wheel, and active noise cancellation to reduce road noise. As we mentioned above, the Power Wagon has a sportier look, with features like a unique grille design, black badging, and all-terrain tires. The Limited Longhorn and Limited are the most luxurious of the bunch, and they come with features like ventilated front seats, ambient interior lighting, and much more!

Another key element of the Ram 2500 lineup is the cutting-edge technology! This lineup features the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which comes with either an 8.4-inch or massive 12-inch touchscreen! This system also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, as well as satellite radio, and even an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. One new piece of tech that comes standard for 2022 is a new air filtration system with the ability to filter out up to 95% of unwanted air contaminants like dust, smoke, and pollen. Other available features for the Ram 1500 include a wireless smartphone charging pad, a premium Harman-Kardon sound system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. You can also find premium safety features like forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and even a fully digital rearview mirror!
