What engines come with the 2021 Charger?

One of the first places that we want to start, and need to start given that this is a muscle car, is the kind of powertrains that you will be getting. Dodge has never disappointed in the area of power, and that’s a trend that continues with the 2021 model year. The list of engines and configurations is a long one! The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6, which can produce 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. There’s another configuration of this engine that boosts it to 300 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. Another engine, a 5.7-liter V8, can get you up to 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. The Scat Pack trim introduces a 6.4-liter V8 engine, while the SRT Hellcat adds in a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which can get up to 797 horsepower with the right trim. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard, with either FWD or AWD.

What features does the Charger offer?

Even though this is a vehicle that is best known for the power opportunity, that isn’t the only thing that the Charger can give you. There is also a rather impressive trim lineup, giving you all of the features that you could ever be interested in having. The base trim, SXT, gives you 17-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, Apple CarPlay, a configurable driver information display, remote start, and Android Auto. The GT trim comes in with an Alpine audio system, a performance suspension, a performance hood with a functional hood scoop, heated side mirrors, and 20-inch alloy wheels. One of the highest trims, SRT Hellcat, gives you a Widebody competition suspension, leather upholstery, a flat-bottom SRT steering wheel, adaptive damping, and heated and ventilated front seats.

What kind of safety can I get with the Dodge Charger?

The last thing we want to go over with you today is the kind of safety that you can find with this sporty and powerful vehicle. Dodge wants to make sure that no matter the kind of power you are getting, this is also something that you can rely on for all of your family’s needs. Some of the safety features that you might find include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring. You’ll also be getting a rearview monitor as standard, which helps to see what is behind you whenever you’re backing up. There is a lot to love here!
